Courtney Enfield is a veteran, community leader, and public servant committed to bringing real representation back to Northeast South Dakota.
A former Naval Officer, Courtney worked on nuclear line items — managing some of the most complex and high-stakes programs in the United States military. She knows what it means to serve, to lead under pressure, and to deliver results in demanding environments.
After her service, Courtney returned to the land she loves and deepened her roots in the community. She is enrolled in the Muckleshoot tribe, and is a descendent from Enemy Swim. While serving as a liaison between the Veterans and Culture committees , experiences shaped her understanding of what government can and should do for the people it serves — and what happens when it fails them.
Courtney is running for the South Dakota House of Representatives because Northeast South Dakota deserves a fighter in Pierre. She will stand up for Native American rights and tribal sovereignty. She will demand better healthcare — especially for veterans who have already given so much. And she will fight to rebuild the infrastructure that holds our communities together.
This corner of South Dakota has a proud history of sending people to Pierre who put working families first. Courtney Enfield is ready to carry that tradition forward.
